Arthritis and Joint Replacement Center

The Arthritis and Joint Replacement Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to the comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with arthritis and joint-related conditions. It specializes in advanced, evidence-based care for a wide range of joint disorders — from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis to autoimmune arthropathies and degenerative joint diseases — offering both non-surgical and surgical treatment options tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

The journey begins with an accurate diagnosis. Every patient undergoes a thorough evaluation and physical examination, supported by specialized X-ray views that assess overall joint structure, limb alignment, and cartilage joint space thickness. When a deeper look is needed, an MRI scan is ordered to evaluate the synovial tissues, determine the extent of cartilage damage, and identify labral or meniscal tears or other structures that may be contributing to pain.

From there, treatment is carefully matched to the patient's condition and goals. Options range from physical therapy and joint injections to more advanced interventions, including total and partial joint replacements of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow.

Joint replacement is considered one of the most successful surgical procedures available for relieving chronic joint pain and restoring function. The procedure works by removing the damaged portion of the joint and replacing it with a precision-engineered artificial implant — giving patients back the mobility and quality of life that pain had taken from them.

At our Joint Replacement Center, we specialize in the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) for hip replacement, as well as other approaches. DAA is a a minimally invasive technique that accesses the joint from the front of the hip.  This muscle-sparing technique is designed to get you back on your feet with fewer restrictions and less post-operative pain.

To complement our surgical precision, we utilize the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol. Enhanced Recovery After Surgery, is a multimodal, evidence-based approach designed to optimize patient outcomes and accelerate recovery following total hip or knee replacements. By focusing on advanced pain management (often reducing the need for opioids), early mobilization within hours of the procedure, and tailored nutrition, patients recovers faster.

Behind the center is a team of Board Certified physicians, each of whom has pursued further specialty training abroad in joint reconstruction and joint replacement — with fellowships and advanced training completed in the United States, Australia, Switzerland, Korea, Japan, and Singapore, among others. They are recognized experts in their field, regularly invited to share their knowledge through lectures and presentations both locally and internationally.
