Asian Hospital and Medical Center, through its Department of Internal Medicine, opened its 17th Postgraduate Course, themed “Beyond the Present: Redefining the Holistic Internist in the Digital Era,” bringing together medical professionals for two days of learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

The opening day focused on the evolving landscape of Internal Medicine and the growing role of innovation and technology in healthcare. The program provided participants with opportunities to gain new insights, exchange knowledge, and explore developments that could help strengthen clinical practice and patient care.

The course was led by Department of Internal Medicine Chairman Dr. Eric Amante and Postgraduate Course Lead Dr. Lenora Fernandez, who guided the program toward meaningful discussions and continued professional development among healthcare professionals.

The opening ceremony featured Dr. Jose Acuin, Director of the Asian Learning Institute; Dr. Carmen Nievera, Chief Medical Officer; and Dr. Lenora Fernandez.
