Asian Hospital and Medical Center received the Gold Award, the highest recognition in the Infection Control Excellence category at the 2026 Hospital Management Asia (HMA) Awards in Bangkok, Thailand, for its initiative, “Timing is Everything: AHMC Surgical Safety Practice through Timed Antibiotic Prophylaxis.”
The award recognized the hospital’s efforts to strengthen surgical safety through the appropriate timing of antibiotic prophylaxis. The initiative highlighted the importance of timely and consistent practices in supporting infection prevention and promoting safer surgical care.
