The Structural Heart Disease and Endovascular Therapy Center of Excellence focuses on treating complex valve and aortic conditions using advanced, minimally invasive techniques. Care is guided by a collaborative “heart team” approach, where specialists evaluate each case in detail to recommend the most appropriate treatment—balancing innovation, safety, and long-term outcomes.

Among the key procedures offered are Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation or Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), which provides an alternative to open-heart surgery for patients with aortic valve disease. The center also performs Endovascular and Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR and TEVAR) for aortic aneurysms, using stent grafts to reinforce weakened sections of the vessel and reduce the risk of rupture.

These less invasive approaches are especially beneficial for patients who may not be ideal candidates for traditional surgery. They are associated with lower complication risks, reduced blood loss, and shorter recovery times—helping patients return more quickly to their normal routines.
