Surgery

The Asian Institute of Surgery is a multidisciplinary, multispecialty clinical surgical institute dedicated to delivering safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. It is composed of five major surgical divisions, each with focused subspecialties that collectively address a broad spectrum of specialized surgical needs with precision and excellence. 

• The General Surgery Division provides comprehensive management of gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, colorectal, breast, endocrine (thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal), abdominal wall and inguinal hernias, and trauma-related conditions using open, and advanced minimally invasive techniques.  It has nine subspecialties that provide precision management of benign to complex malignant surgical procedures.  
• The Thoracic Cardiovascular and Transplant Surgery Division offers specialized care for cardiac, aortic, peripheral vascular, and thoracic diseases, including complex bypass, valve, endovascular, lung procedures and organ transplant.  
• The Urology Division delivers full-spectrum services for kidney, bladder, prostate, and male reproductive disorders, with expertise in endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery.
• The Pediatric Surgery Division focuses on the surgical needs of infants and children, addressing congenital anomalies, neonatal emergencies, pediatric tumors, and minimally invasive pediatric techniques.
• The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division provides reconstructive, lymphatic microsurgery, burns, craniofacial, and aesthetic services aimed at restoring form, function, and quality of life.
