The Department of Radiation Oncology of Asian Hospital and Medical Center provides comprehensive, evidence-based radiation therapy for patients with cancer and selected benign conditions. Our multidisciplinary team of radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation therapists, oncology nurses, and allied healthcare professionals works together to deliver personalized, precise, and compassionate care.
Equipped with advanced technologies including the Philippines' first CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System, TomoTherapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and Image-guided brachytherapy, the department delivers highly targeted treatments while preserving surrounding healthy tissues. Working closely with the Asian Cancer Institute and other medical specialties, we provide coordinated care tailored to each patient's needs.
CHAIRPERSON
Dr. Enrico Tangco
MISSION
To provide compassionate, precise, and evidence-based radiation oncology care through advanced technology, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical excellence.
VISION
To be a leading center for radiation oncology in the Philippines, recognized for innovation, precision, and patient-centered cancer care.
CORE VALUES
Our multidisciplinary team works together to ensure every patient receives safe, individualized, and evidence-based treatment.
Radiation Oncologists
Our consultants provide expertise across a wide range of cancers, including:
Medical Physicists
Ensure treatment accuracy, equipment quality assurance, radiation safety, and treatment plan verification. Develop individualized radiation treatment plans that maximize tumor control while protecting surrounding healthy tissue.
Radiation Therapists
Deliver daily radiation treatments with precision while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
Oncology Nurses
Provide patient education, treatment coordination, symptom management, and supportive care throughout the treatment journey.
Patient Navigator
Assist patients with scheduling, treatment coordination, financial counseling, and navigation of their care.
CLINICAL SERVICES OF RADIATION ONCOLOGY
Our multidisciplinary team works together to ensure every patient receives safe, individualized, and evidence-based treatment.
Each Radiation Treatment is tailored to the patient's diagnosis, anatomy, and clinical goals.
CyberKnife® Unit
Home to the Philippines' first CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery System. It delivers non-invasive, highly precise stereotactic radiation therapy for selected tumors. Real-time tumor tracking allows sub-millimeter accuracy while minimizing radiation exposure to healthy tissues, with treatments completed in one to five outpatient sessions.
TomoTherapy Unit
Combining helical IMRT with daily image guidance, TomoTherapy enables highly conformal treatment for complex cancers while protecting nearby critical organs.
Brachytherapy Unit
Image-Guided Brachytherapy delivers radiation directly within or near the tumor, allowing higher doses to the target while minimizing exposure to surrounding tissues. CT Scan and Ultrasound are used to identify targets with accuracy. It is commonly used for gynecologic cases such as Endometrial and Cervical Cancers.
Multidisciplinary Cancer Care
Conquer C Center works closely with specialists across the Asian Cancer Institute to provide coordinated, patient-centered care. Each treatment plan is developed through collaboration among Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Pathology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Nutrition, and Supportive and Integrative care teams.
