Apolonio L. Atienza, who worked at the Bureau of Immigration for 25 years, suddenly felt chest pain and severe sweating while having dinner with his family. He then blacked out, later on he found out he was experiencing a massive heart attack. When he was already in the Cath Lab, he experienced another heart attack and lost his consciousness and he had to be revived because his heart stopped beating.
He almost lost hope because when he was in the Intensive Care Unit, he had seizures, high fever, and heard that he flat-lined again and had to be revived. The Asian Cardiovascular Institute’s team helped him in his condition and had him complete his rehabilitation sessions. His life slowly went back to normal because he could go to work and drive again.
Supporting documents could also prove that his recovery is complete and he was able to reach the number of points indicating that he has gone total recovery.
