Asian Kidney Transplant Center

Kidney transplantation is recognized globally as the most effective and preferred treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), offering improved survival, enhanced quality of life, and reduced long-term healthcare costs compared to dialysis.  

In 2002, Asian Hospital and Medical Center was granted accreditation and support from Department of Health of the Philippines to perform kidney transplants.  

The Kidney Transplant Center operates a full range of services for patients with advanced renal failure facing the possibility of renal replacement therapy. Our services include evaluation, wait list maintenance, transplant procedures, and follow up care.  

The center is multidisciplinary and is staffed by surgeons and nephrologists. Transplant Surgeon work very closely with nephrologists on patient management issues. The center also involves nurse coordinators, social workers, dietitians and financial counselors.

A multidisciplinary team of Asian Hospital and Medical Center physicians developed the transplant program in close collaboration with physicians which has years of successful kidney transplant experience.
