CLINICAL SERVICES OF DENTAL MEDICINE

  1. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery:

A branch of Dentistry that surgically treats many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws and face) region. It is an internationally recognized surgical specialty.

  1. Orthodontics:

A branch of Dentistry that deals with the prevention and correction of irregularities of the teeth, through the use of braces.

  1. Pedodontics:

A branch of Dentistry devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of oral problems affecting children.

  1. Endodontics:

A branch of Dentistry concerned with the etiology , prevention, diagnosis,and treatment of conditions that affect the tooth pulp,root, and periodical tissues.

  1. Oral Implantology (Implant Dentistry):

It is a branch of Dentistry that deals with placing a Dental Implant, a “Root” device, usually made of titanium, to support restorations that resemble a tooth or group of teeth to replace missing teeth.

  1. Periodontics:

A branch of Dentistry that deals with the study and treatment of periodontal disease (diseases affecting the tissues  and structures that surround the teeth).

  1. Prosthodontics:

A branch of Dentistry pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated

  1. General Dentistry: 

It involves the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of conditions, disorders and diseases affecting the teeth and gums.
