Home | News | Asian Hospital Raises Awareness on Atherosclerosis at ADB Health and Wellness Fair

Asian Hospital and Medical Center raised awareness about atherosclerosis during the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Health and Wellness Fair held on September 8, 2026, spotlighting its “Ate Rose” campaign as part of its efforts to promote heart health and cardiovascular disease prevention.

The initiative focused on helping ADB employees better understand atherosclerosis, a condition in which plaque can build up inside the arteries and affect blood flow. Through the campaign, participants were encouraged to become more proactive in protecting their cardiovascular health and recognizing the importance of prevention.

The activity highlighted the value of regularly monitoring cholesterol levels and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits. Employees were encouraged to stay physically active, make heart-healthy choices, and pay closer attention to factors that could affect their cardiovascular well-being.

“Ate Rose” served as a relatable and engaging way to communicate important information about atherosclerosis and encourage individuals to take action before heart health problems became more serious. The campaign emphasized that simple, consistent lifestyle choices and regular health monitoring could contribute to better heart health.

The Health and Wellness Fair provided an opportunity for Asian Hospital to engage directly with the ADB community and share practical information on cardiovascular health. It also reinforced the importance of health education and preventive care in supporting healthier workplaces and communities.

Through the initiative, Asian Hospital continued its efforts to make conversations about heart health more accessible and understandable, encouraging individuals to take an active role in protecting their hearts.

The campaign delivered a simple reminder to participants: Don’t let Ate Rose steal your heart health—know your risks, monitor your cholesterol, and make heart-healthy choices.
