Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) is honored to have taken part in the “Training on Good Pharmacy Practices (GPP) in Hospital Pharmacy Settings: Standards and Best Practices,” organized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in partnership with the Philippine Society of Hospital Pharmacists (PSHP).
The training aimed to equip FDA inspectors with a deeper understanding of hospital pharmacy operations and standards of practice, ensuring regulatory alignment and consistency in quality assessment.
AHMC was selected as one of the benchmark sites for its complex pharmacy services, established quality systems, and strong commitment to patient safety. The visit provided valuable insights into real-world applications of Good Pharmacy Practices and served as a model for inspection approaches and expectations.
This initiative reinforces AHMC’s dedication to upholding Good Pharmacy Practices in hospital settings — ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of medications while promoting optimal patient care.
By partnering with key industry regulators and professional organizations, Asian Hospital continues to champion excellence and innovation in hospital pharmacy practice, fostering collaboration that elevates healthcare standards across the country.
