Dedicated to providing comprehensive care of the highest quality in cancer management, Chrys II Center provides Integrative, Supportive and Palliative Care Services. Members of the services work alongside the primary medical specialists and attending physicians who administer the main modalities of cancer treatment and patient care coordination, seeking to ease distress while remaining mindful of patient and family needs, values, beliefs, culture, and economics. Chrys II Center caters also to non-cancer cases with similar needs.
SUPPORTIVE, INTEGRATIVE, PALLIATIVE, HOSPICE, & HOME CARE – this incorporates the principles of supportive and palliative care into the treatment of patients from the time of diagnosis, at any stage of the disease, for all types of serious illnesses, including cancer, AIDS, advanced diseases of the heart, lungs, kidney and liver, and neurodegenerative diseases, such as dementia.
SUPPORTIVE CARE is dedicated more towards issues around treatment management and post-treatment issues, including comorbidity management (various medical disciplines come in – e.g., dermatology, neurology, pulmonology, infectious disease medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, endocrinology, etc.)
