NUMEROUS ASIAN HOSPITAL ACTIVITIES PROMOTE OVERALL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Department of Occupational and Family Medicine held a digital exhibit and bazaar to showcase products designed to promote both planetary protection and individual health with the theme, “Healthy Planet, Healthy People”
The exhibit’s inauguration, led by the hospital’s management president and CEO Dr. Beaver R. Tamesis, chief medical officer Dr. Jose M Acuin, department chair Dr. Arabelle Coleen P. Ofina, and esteemed members of the community.
On the other hand, The Department of Emergency Medicine celebrated World Emergency Medicine Day with an activity that focused on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Last May 31, they hosted an interactive session with opportunities to learn life-saving skills and contribute to emergency medicine awareness.
Lastly, in honor of the late Dr. Mary Grace Lim of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Asian Hospital hosted the annual Dr. Mary Grace Lim Memorial lecture on Patient Safety. This year’s theme, “Sailing through the Challenges by the Compass of a Culture of Safety” was held at the Conference Facility Unit
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jose M. Acuin inaugurated the event, organized by the Quality Management Group, along with keynote speaker Dr. Juan Rosas, the head of Quality Management and Patient Safety Group at Metro Pacific Group.
