Multiple hospital departments partake in the Anniversary Celebration
As part of the hospital’s anniversary celebration, various hospital departments organized activities that focused on their respective commitment to providing quality service through innovation and quality patient care.
As such, in celebration of the Department of Dental Medicine’s 22nd anniversary, free dental consultations, oral evaluations, diagnostics, and 3rd molar surgeries were offered at the Emmanuel Center of Asian Hospital.
This event emphasized the importance of oral hygiene, regular dental visits, and healthy oral habits. They also focused on the connection between oral health and overall well-being, encouraging proactive care of one’s teeth and gums.
Another notable activity was the 22@22 Oral Surgery Mission held last June 2 which provided free dental consultation, oral evaluations, diagnostics, and 3rd molar surgeries to hospital staff and their dependents.
This initiative aimed to promote community health and guaranteed that every one has access to dental care. Through these programs, they hope to inspire individuals to prioritize their dental health and foster a culture of preventive care within the community.
Another initiative they prepared was the Annual Scientific Conference of Dental Medicine, “Matuon Ta” which featured a series of interactive lectures and hands-on workshops on Oral Surgery, Dental Trauma Splinting, Tooth Whitening and Walking Bleach, among others at the Acacia Hotel, Bacolod last June 22-25.
For its 22nd anniversary, the Department of Surgery mounted an exhibit, “SURGEry: Riding the Waves of Change through Information, Innovations, and Integration”. Chairman Dr. Carlos Ejercito, Jr., whose visionary leadership continues to drive innovation within the department, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
