Asian Hospital recognizes nursing excellence
Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) recently celebrated the outstanding achievements of its nursing professionals at the 2nd Soledad Velez-Pangilinan Nursing Excellence Awards, held at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas.
Ms. Fides F. Adiviso, PhDN, MAN, RN, honored with the prestigious Excellence in Nursing Education Award, was recognized for her significant contributions to nursing education and leadership in shaping the future of the profession.
AHMC Nursing Hiring Strategy Team won the Team Innovation Award. Their team, comprised of Carolina Buhain, Director, Nursing Services, Fides Adiviso, Department Head, Nursing Fundamentals, Leslie Batan, Senior Manager, Nursing Professional Practice Training, Janice Velaro, Department Head for Nursing Training and Development, Arlene Grace Lopez, Manager for Nursing Career and Development, and Marissa R. Nero, Manager for Nursing Professional Practice and Staff Engagement were all recognized for their innovative approach to improving the hospital’s nursing recruitment strategy, helping to strengthen AHMC’s commitment to exceptional patient care.
Additionally, Nurse Caselle Adnesor Bayal was named a finalist in the Excellence in Clinical Nursing category. This recognition underscored her dedication to providing high-quality clinical care and her positive impact on patient outcomes.
The Soledad Velez-Pangilinan Nursing Excellence Awards honored extraordinary contributions to nursing practice, education, and leadership within the Metro Pacific Health network.
