Asian Hospital and Medical Center quality project bags third award in the Hospital Management Asia.

For the second year in a row, Asian Hospital and Medical Center has won an award in the prestigious Hospital Management Asia.

The quality improvement project titled “Eyes on Patient Care: Optimizing Patient Flow in the Emergency  Department” was selected to receive an award in the Innovations In Hospital Management category. This is the project’s 3rd award in 2019 after winning the “ICT Initiative of the Year” and “Management Innovation of the Year” awards in the Healthcare Asia Awards held in Singapore last May 2019.

Asian Hospital is one of the only four hospitals from the Philippines that will receive an award this year. HMA received more than 500 entries from 129 hospitals in 17 countries this year.

The Asian Hospital Management Awards, now in its 18th year, is a prestigious ceremony which recognizes and honors hospitals in the Asia Pacific. Running alongside the HMA conference, it is the most prominent hospital management awards in the region.

There are 13 award categories to demonstrate the innovative and progressive approaches that hospitals across the region are doing to improve healthcare. The awards ceremony will take place in Vietnam on Thursday, September 12. 2019.
