Dermatologic Consultations

Our dermatologists have trained in accredited training institutions and are board certified by the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS). They have passed thru the Credentialing Committee of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center and are experts in medical management, dermatologic procedures and laser treatments of a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions.

State-of-the-Art Devices

Autologous Micrograft Technology for Androgenic Alopecia (Regenera Activa)
This procedure involves harvesting regenerative stem cells from a micrograft (skin sample) obtained from the back of the scalp. These cells are then processed and injected into the treatment site, allowing thicker hair to grow. Autologous micrograft therapy is used to address hair thinning and hair loss.

Laser, Light and Energy-Based Devices
Treatments are designed to focus on a wide range of dermatologic conditions and problems.

HAIR
The LightSheer Diode Laser targets the melanin in the hair follicles to destroy them. Both men and women with unwanted hair on the face, arms, underarms, chest, back, legs and bikini area, may be treated.

ACNE
ClearSkin combines a non-ablative laser with contact cooling and vacuum to treat all forms of acne. Acne scars are also improved by stimulating collagen renewal.
Pixel removes the old layer of the skin, allowing fresh and smoother skin underneath to grow. The laser beam creates a tiny pattern of small wounds on the surface, and once it heals, will result in deeply rejuvenated new skin!

SCARS
Pixel laser resurfacing improves acne scars, surgical scars and stretchmarks effectively by stimulating new collagen formation. The skin continues to improve for up to 6 months after the treatment series.

TATTOO
Our Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser breaks down tattoo pigments without damaging the normal surrounding skin. Each session may take between a few minutes to an hour, and 4 to 6 sessions are needed, depending on the size, color, and location.

FACIAL AND LEG VEINS
Cutera long pulsed Nd:YAG laser treats small purple or red veins on the face and legs. It effectively applies heat to the vein to damage it and reroute blood flow to healthy blood vessels.

AGING AND SAGGING SKIN
We offer advanced treatments to complement your current skin regimen, for skin rejuvenation and tightening!
Near Infrared (NIR) delivers uniform and targeted deep heating for the skin laxity of the face, neck, arms, and abdomen. There is no downtime, and to achieve a firmer and more youthful appearance, a series of sessions may be needed.
ClearLift uses heat to stimulate collagen production to have a more even skin tone, firmer and tighter skin, less visible pores and lighter pigmentation. It is ideal for dull and pigmented skin, sunspots, skin laxity and fine lines.

NAIL FUNGUS
Long pulsed Nd:YAG laser heats the infected nail and kills the fungus. Once fungus is eliminated, it may take 6 to 9 months for a new, healthy nail to grow.

FOCAL FAT DEPOSITS and BODY CONTOURING
We offer painless and non-invasive procedures for the reduction of stubborn fat in problematic areas of the abdomen, arms, buttocks, legs and thighs.
Cavitalipo delivers low frequency ultrasound.
Tripollar uses radiofrequency technology.

OTHER SKIN DISORDERS
Phototherapy is the use of a special kind of light to treat psoriasis, vitiligo, and other skin disorders. We offer Hand and Foot Phototherapy for localized problems, Excimer Lamp for small lesions, and Daavlin Chamber for whole body treatments.

Botulinum Toxin Injections
These are neurotoxins that are injected to relax the muscles that cause frown lines, crow’s feet and facial wrinkles. These are also used to treat excessive sweating.

OUT-PATIENT SURGERIES

These are the procedures that may be done on an out-patient basis:

Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
This involves removing excess skin and fat from the upper lids, lower lids, or both, to improve their appearance. It is also used to treat droopy eyelids (ptosis) that already affects vision.

Nose Job (Rhinoplasty)
Aims to reshape or reconstruct the nose, as well as improve nasal function and breathing. In cases where additional volume is needed, implants or bone or rib grafts may be used.

Face Lift (Rhytidectomy)
This procedure involves pulling back the skin from both sides of the face, thereby tightening it and minimizing signs of aging such as saggy skin and wrinkles.

The specialists at Aesthetix Asian are all properly trained and board-certified in their respective fields of specialization. They have all passed the credentialing process of the Medical Affairs Division of Asian Hospital and Medical Center, and can competently and safely practice their specific specialty in aesthetic medicine.

Our plastic surgeons completed plastic surgery training in an accredited training program of PAPRAS (Philippine Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, Inc.), and successfully passed both written and oral examinations administered by the Philippine Board of Plastic Surgery.
