The Lifestyle Screening Program is designed
to help an individual adopt a healthy lifestyle and make informed
decisions to achieve a lifetime of fitness and wellness. This
holistic screening program is supervised by a multidisciplinary
team of specialists who use the latest scientific evidence
in making decisions about the care of individual patients.
It consists of three packages, each with a range of diagnostic
tests specific for a particular age group and corresponding
set of health risk factors.
Prevention
Package
Recommended for individual 39 years old and below.
Package includes screening tests for:
• Episodic health problems • Early-onset
hypertension and diabetes
• Infertility
• Early pregnancy
• Family planning
• Pre-employment and annual physical exam, including
screening for sexually transmitted infections
• Counselling to address maladjustment to married
life, unplanned marriage/pregnancy, and work-related problems
Awareness
Package
Recommended for individuals 40 to 49 years old.
Package includes screening tests for:
• Episodic health problems
• Chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes,
cardiovascular disease, and cancer
• Urologic problems such as changes in urination patterns
and impotence
• Sexually transmitted infections
• Degenerative diseases
• Depression associated with a host of stressful life
events people in this age group usually go through (e.g.
career stagnation, “empty nest” syndrome, married
children over-dependence on parents, early retirement, financial
problems, extramarital affairs, caring for a sick parent
or in-law)
Maintenance
Package
Recommended for individuals 50 years old and above.
Package includes screening tests for:
• Episodic health problems
• Chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes,
cardiovascular disease, and cancer
• Degenerative diseases
• Urologic problems such as changes in urination patterns
and impotence
• Depression associated with a host of stressful life
