The Section of Gastroenterology provides the full spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with liver and gastrointestinal disorders. Gastroenterologists specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon. The specialists insert tubes through the mouth or rectum to examine and treat problems of the digestive tract.

A full range of diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures using video system is available in the Endoscopy Unit.

The procedures performed include gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP).
Both in-patient and out-patient services are available for patients.
