Symposium
on keeping health in the workplace
at Asian Hospital and Medical Center
The
Department of Occupational Medicine of the Asian Hospital and Medical
Center will be holding a luncheon symposium on “Keeping your
Health in the Workplace” on March 14, 2007 12 p.m., at the
4th Floor Training Room of the hospital.
Occupational
health physicians from different companies, particularly those who
are practicing in the South, are invited to participate in the symposium,
which aims to raise awareness of the importance of health in the
workplace and the effective management of work-related emergencies.
Among
the topics to be discussed are “Keeping your BMI at Par,”
“Stress Management,” and “Environmental Hazards,”
which will be tackled by Asian Hospital’s occupational medicine
experts Dr. Maria Antonia Yamamoto, accredited pollution control
officer and chair of Asian Hospital’s Department of Occupational
Medicine; and Dr. Rumalie Corvera, occupational medicine consultant
and hospice care specialist.
