| Asian Hospital and Medical Center
joins the world in celebrating Global Day Against Pain as it holds
a lay forum on cancer-related pain dubbed “Understanding Cancer
Pain” on November 16, 2007, from 8 to 11 a.m., at the 4th
Floor Training Room of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.
The symposium will feature experts from the Asian
Hospital and Medical Center who will walk participants through everything
they need to know about cancer-related pain. Among the topics to
be discussed are incidence, types and causes of pain in cancer,
management of cancer pain, and psychosocial aspect of pain in cancer.
After
the discussion, an open forum will be conducted to give chance to
the participants to ask the speakers about their concerns.
