Asian Hospital and Medical Center will hold “A Lay Symposium on Treatment of Arthritis: Truths and Consequences” on November 15, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the 4th Floor Training Room of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center.

Everybody is invited to attend the lay forum, which will discuss the latest research and treatment of arthritis. The symposium will feature experts from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the Asian Hospital and Medical Center who will let participants in on such topics as “Truths and Fallacies about Arthritis,” “Arthritis of the Knee,” “Arthritis of the Hip,” “Exercise and Arthritis,” and “Rehabilitation Therapy Before and After Arthritis Surgery.”

The lay forum will also provide free consultation, x-ray to lucky participants, and medicines to qualified patients.
