The Department of Ophthalmology is dedicated to the preservation of vision and prevention of blindness through patient care, research, and education. It has one of the largest staff in Asian Hospital and Medical Center and one of the strongest sub-specialty groups among Metro Manila hospitals. Unique to the department is its Laser Room (Eye Diagnostic and Laser Unit) that features state-of-the-art equipment.
Under the Department of Ophthalmology is the Eye Laser and Diagnostic Unit, which is staffed by highly trained experts in laser vision and intraocular surgery.
