The Section of Rheumatology provides consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for both outpatient and inpatient care of patients with rheumatic diseases affecting the muscles and joints.
Rheumatologists at Asian Hospital and Medical Center provide diagnosis and treatment for diseases that affect the body’s connective tissue. Rheumatologists treat diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, rare diseases such as relapsing polychondritis and multicentric reticulohistiocytosis.
They offer consultative and continuing care for patients with regional musculoskeletal disorders such as shoulder pain, hip pain, and knee pain. Other services include diagnostic and therapeutic intra-articular and soft tissue injections and aspirations and outpatient diagnostic arthroscopy.
