We offer the following services:
Highly trained dermatologists perform laser treatments to remove unwanted tattoos—quickly, safely and effectively. Professional tattoos usually require 5-10 treatment sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart, while amateur “street tattoos” need fewer treatments. One laser treatment takes only a few minutes.
Asian Hospital dermatologists remove tattoos with high-intensity laser applied in pulses lasting a few billionths of a second. The laser is selectively absorbed by tattoo inks, which the body breaks down into smaller particles and eventually removes. Tattoos fade gradually with every treatment. The number of treatments will depend on the color, amount and kind of ink, depth and location of the tattoo on the body.
The laser treatment is relatively painless. Some patients describe the sensation as “slightly warm”, while others as “a mildly hot stinging feeling”. To minimize patient discomfort, a topical anesthetic cream is applied on the area to be treated before the laser procedure. After the laser treatment, ice packs are applied to cool the skin.
You will be able to resume your usual activities immediately following treatment. Some warmth, redness and mild blistering (like sunburn) may develop on the treated area, but these resolve within a week. Occasionally, red spots may develop but the skin subsequently returns to its previous texture and condition. Complete wound healing occurs 7 to 10 days after completion of treatment. Tattoo pigments fade away completely after several weeks or a few months.
• You don’t have to go through the hassle and discomfort of shaving, tweezing or waxing. Laser treatments done by experts provide a safe, effective, affordable and permanent way to remove unwanted hair anywhere in the body—on the face, legs, back, chest, stomach, arms, neck, bikini area, and underarms.
Asian Hospital dermatologists use laser energy to target the base of the hair follicle, damaging cells that produce hair growth while sparing the surrounding skin. When enough damage is done, further hair growth is prevented.
Several treatments are required because each hair follicle goes through different lengths of growth and rest phases. The laser affects only hair follicles in the growing phase, so one treatment will only damage 50% to 70% of the hair follicles. Therefore, previously resting hair follicles that enter the growth phase require further laser treatment.
Each treatment session can take from 10 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area being treated. Four to eight sessions at 6- to 10-week intervals are needed to achieve permanent hair reduction. Anyone, regardless of age, gender and skin complexion, can be a candidate for permanent laser hair reduction.
Most patients tolerate the procedure very well without the need for any anesthetic.
However, topical numbing agents may be used on sensitive areas. Side effects are very mild, mostly redness in the treated area.
Highly trained dermatologists use state-of-the-art ultraviolet light technology to provide safe and effective treatment for various skin conditions, such as psoriasis, vitiligo, dermatitis and eczema
Phototherapy is often prescribed by a dermatologist after a thorough assessment of the patient’s skin type, age, skin condition and medical history. It utilizes ultraviolet (UV) light, which is part of natural sunlight.
In phototherapy, you will be asked to wear protective goggles before stepping inside a closet-like structure filled with special fluorescent light tubes. The treatment can last between a few seconds to a few minutes, which will be gradually increased depending on your skin’s reaction. Your dermatologist will carefully monitor the amount of UV light to ensure that it meets your needs and does not cause any complications.
Phototherapy treatment is usually given 2 to 3 times a week, depending on the diagnosis, disease severity, and discretion of your dermatologist.
Bid goodbye to the long downtime and painful process of injecting a solution to collapse unsightly “spider veins”. Say hello to a no downtime, high-tech, quick, and safe way to remove unwanted facial and leg veins.
Asian Hospital dermatologists utilize a state-of-the-art technology that uses light, sound and heat to close abnormally large enlarged veins in the face and legs. The treatment selectively targets unsightly facial and leg veins while sparing surrounding tissues and healthy skin as well as initiating new collagen growth. It is relatively painless and only causes a sensation similar to being pinched or hit by a rubber band.
Treatments typically last 30 minutes and are usually performed every 3 to 4 weeks. The best part is, side effects are very minor, which include mild redness and swelling of the treated skin that usually dissipate within one hour! Bruising is rare.
Imagine a wrinkle removal treatment that causes minimal discomfort and no fatty tissue loss, yields results after only a few sessions, and is affordable. This ideal tissue-tightening device is available at Asian Hospital!
Asian Hospital dermatologists utilize a state-of-the-art technology that effectively reduces the signs of aging by tightening facial and neck skin, smoothening skin texture, and promoting collagen remodeling and skin tone enhancement. This technology can improve the appearance of wrinkles, skin texture, facial laxity and mild acne scarring with basically no downtime. The skin remains intact, so you can put on make-up immediately after the procedure.
The treatment selectively targets deep and fine wrinkles while sparing surrounding tissues and healthy skin as well as initiating new collagen growth. It delivers focused and predictable performance to treat wrinkles at low energy levels that assure patient comfort. The device includes built-in contact cooling, which ensures additional epidermal protection and comfort for the patient.
Treatments typically last 30 minutes and are usually performed every 3 to 4 weeks. Mild redness and swelling of the treated area quickly dissipates within an hour after treatment.
Be younger looking and more shapely without going through the pain, complications and long downtime of surgery with Asian Hospital’s “Super Skin Tightening” (SST) Technology.
SST utilizes near infrared technology, which produces dramatic but comfortable deep collagen heating without damaging the superficial part of the skin. It is used to perform non-surgical face lift by tightening the sagging skin around the jowls (cheeks and lower jaw) and the neck, decreasing the appearance of droopy brow lines and nasolabial folds (area down the side of the nose and lips), and improving elasticity and overall skin tone. SST can also be performed to tighten loose skin on a woman’s abdomen after giving birth (after getting clearance from the obstetrician, of course).
Three to six treatments are required to produce a tighter skin appearance. There is practically no pre-treatment preparation and absolutely no anesthesia is required for the procedure.
• The CavitaLipo System (CLS) is a safe, non-invasive, painless and effective way to improve overall body contour.
A technological revolution in slimming, CLS uses high-energy ultrasound waves to create a “cavitation” effect that “bursts” fat cells or cellulite. Its benefits include treatment of adipose tissue and cellulite; reduction of adipose tissue deposits, “orange peel” and stretch marks; increase in metabolism rate; and improvement in skin elasticity and firmness.
A treatment session takes less than an hour. While patients usually notice positive changes after 2 sessions, 6 to 10 sessions are recommended for best results. There is no down time and complicated post-treatment regimen.
If you’re not quite ready yet for a full traditional face lift, radiofrequency (non-surgical) face lift is an ideal alternative to delay the signs of aging
Asian Hospital dermatologists are equipped with a state-of-the-art technology that uses radiofrequency (RF) waves to generate heat. Heat helps to contract muscles and tissues while building up collagen levels thereby:
Tightening and smoothing of facial skin
Reducing appearance of fine wrinkles
Tightening of sagging skin around the jowls and neck
Decreasing appearance of double chin
Improving skin elasticity and tone
The RF face lift is ideal for people who:
Want a maintenance treatment to address early signs of aging
Want to forgo the need for a full surgical facelift later in life
Are too busy and cannot afford to allot several days for post-surgery recovery
Have a low pain threshold
Each treatment session lasts 20 to 40 minutes, is painless, and has no downtime. Four to eight weekly treatments are usually required to achieve satisfactory results. While some results are visible immediately, full results take a few months to develop as the deep tissue layers heal. Minor swelling and skin irritation are the most common side effects, which are easily addressed by prescription pain medicines.
Get a shapelier figure safely, effectively without the pain and downtime associated with surgery
Radiofrequency (RF) body sculpting uses RF waves to generate heat, which shrinks fat cells and eliminates localized fat deposits. This improves cellulite appearance and reduces the circumference of the abdomen, face, neck, upper arms, buttocks, hips, thighs, and even male breasts.
Each treatment session lasts 15 minutes to an hour. Patients usually notice positive changes within four sessions, but eight to twelve sessions are usually required to achieve best results. Minor swelling and skin irritation are the most common side effects, which are easily addressed by prescription pain medicines.
Fractional laser resurfacing is a safe, effective and painless solution to wrinkles due to aging or sun damage, uneven skin pigmentation, enlarged skin pores, and unsightly scars
Fractional laser resurfacing or “laser peel” precisely targets the areas of the skin with heat, producing tiny dots or “pixels” while leaving the skin in between intact. The procedure is similar to the precise pixel by pixel alteration of digital photographs. As the healing process begins, new cells are formed and collagen regeneration is stimulated, thus leaving the skin smoother and softer.
Advantages of fractional laser resurfacing include: less invasive, minimal discomfort, shorter downtime, extremely low risk of scarring, and visible and longer lasting results with just a few sessions.
A treatment session often lasts no longer than 30 minutes and results in a mild prickling or burning sensation. A chilled air device or topical anesthetic can be applied to reduce any pain or discomfort. For several hours after the session, the treated area will feel tight and warm like a sunburned skin. It will continue to look “pinkish” for 2 to 3 days. Swelling, if present, disappears in 1 to 2 days. Mild to moderate flaking will be visible, which may last for up to 7 days.
You can begin to see results immediately, but optimal improvement is usually visible in about 2 to 3 months as collagen remodeling and skin tightening continues.
