Outpatient
Laboratory & Radiology Center |
The
Outpatient Laboratory & Radiology Center (Outpatient
Services) is strategically located in the Lower Ground Level
of the Medical Office Building (MOB). In the hospital's
effort of making the hospital environment as clean as it
can achieve, the high-traffic Outpatient was separated from
the In-patient. We believe that infection travels fasters
in a crowded environment. For infection control and maintenance
of a peaceful environment for the Inpatient, the Outpatient
is placed in the Medical Office Building (MOB).
Patients
coming from the Doctor’s Clinics go directly to the
Center to have the diagnostic and ancillary tests/procedures
requested by the doctors done. The Center has a patient
registration area, cashier, and third party payor staff.
It also houses a Phlebotomy area (outpatient laboratory);
Outpatient General Radiography (outpatient X-ray) area;
Bone Mineral Densitometry, and Mammography services.
After
registration and/or payment, samples for laboratory tests
are collected and/or given to the Medical Technologists
in the Phlebotomy area. Outpatient general radiography procedures,
bone mineral densitometry, and mammography are also performed
in the Center. The Center also serves as the releasing area
of laboratory and radiography results.
The Outpatient Laboratory & Radiology Center (Outpatient
Services) is open Mondays thru Saturdays, 7am to 7pm. Beyond
these hours, outpatients may be accommodated at the Main
Laboratory in the 3rd floor or at the Main Radiology Service
in the Upper Ground floor of the hospital.
